Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 & Benefit Concert “Answer the Call” Rapper Jay Z announced yesterday at a press conference his benefit concert at Madison Square Garden on September 11th for the New York Police & Fire Widows and Children's Benefit Fund. Jay Z releases the “Blueprint 3” which hits stores on the same date. September 11th will the eight year anniversary of this tragic event in New York City. For Hip Hop it is the anniversary of the first BluePrint album that was released on September 11, 2001.

The Blueprint 3 will feature appearances from Alicia Keyes, Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz, Rihanna, Pharrell and Kanye West. Tickets for the concert go on sale September 8th for $50 through Ticketmaster. All proceeds will go to New York Police & Fire Widows and Children's Benefit Fund.

There's a new, fresh sound coming out of Sony Music: Da' Zoo - a Puerto Rican pop-fusion band that is steadily taking their peculiar sound to the ears of music fans across the U.S. one performance at a time. Made up of Charly Zoo, 30, a native of San Juan; Eli-Joe, 26, from Cayey; Raggi, 26, of Guanica; and Yo-Fred, 33, who comes from Adjuntas, the group recently followed up their performance at the prestigious Premios Juventud, with another appearance in San Jose, California, after which EXO reached one of its singers, Charly "Zoo" Rodriguez, for comments on what it's like to be among the newest faces in Latin American music.
